DIVING CLINICS

Peak buoyancy for coral conservationists

Control of your buoyancy is critically important to becoming a better diver. Not only will you be able to dive more efficiently but you will also be able to get closer to the reefs without risking to break 40 years worth of coral growth. By mastering your buoyancy, you will become an invaluable member of our coral conservation teams.

Learn how to master your buoyancy with diving clinics organized by Saigon Divers Club and Rumblefish in Saigon before your next trip at sea!

Advanced Underwater Photography Course

"Taking images underwater is an exhilarating and fun experience. If you are already a diver and feel comfortable underwater, then taking a camera with you on a dive to take pictures is just the next step in exploring the underwater world. Even if you aren’t a diver don’t despair, as snorkelling offers just as many great opportunities to photograph marine life and produce compelling and beautiful images." - NatureTTL

In addition to being an exciting hobby, it "is very useful when scientists need to examine objects on the seafloor over time. For example, scientists may use underwater photography to take photoquadrats to look at the abundance of coral over time at several reef locations". - Uni. of Hawai'i

A result of the collaboration between Saigon Divers Club and Rumblefish, the Advanced Underwater Photography Course by Bubbles & Lenses emerged as a co-creation by 4 SDC members and professional photographers: Liane, Cecilia, Van and Chris. Photo skills, diving skills, and environmental awareness are the three pillars of their course.
